About Us
Legacy Creeks Ranch (LCR) was established on January 1st, 2015 as the ambitious result of James who always dreamt of having a ranch/recreational destination property. After purchasing the bare land and enlisting the help of some very special friends and his wife Debby, the LCR started taking shape to be what it is today. Over the course of the past seven years we have had the opportunity to add an incredible infrastructure that sustains two tiny cabins, two RV sites, an owners cabin, a guest cabin, a large barn with a processing center, a wood shop and a greenhouse. We continue to improve our ponds, increase access to our creeks and cut trails through the forest for hiking and exploring on the property. It is so fulfilling to have guests enjoy their stay and have the opportunity to experience seeing the wildlife, the smell of an afternoon rain, or watch our bright twinkling stars at night. We know how much we love everything the LCR has to offer and love sharing that with others.
Our Staff
Welcoming Committee and Security Patrol
Meet our welcoming committee/security patrol and butterfly chasers. Elbi and Senidi are in charge of announcing the arrival of guests and keeping a keen eye out for wildlife. These girls live the best life a dog can have by dipping in the ponds and creeks on a hot summer day or frolicking in the snow mounds in the winter. Being born in the month of December, they are a big fan of snow. Being labs, they are loyal and loving partners whether we are going about our day to day chores or are exploring the property or surrounding area with us.
Pest Control and Building Security
Every good ranch property with barns and buildings must enlist a special forces team to combat pests. Our team is unique as it is a combination of local Star Meadow cats and Barnie the Barn Cat Rescues. Copper, Crenshaw, Lynx and Puma work tirelessly to keep the buildings on the property varmint free while still adhering to HR guidelines for their people interaction.
Seasonal Help
Introducing our seasonal help, Brooklyn, Jameson and Blake. They visit in summers and winters and are excellent in assisting with the feeding of our barn cats, the fish in the ponds and watching for wildlife. They are responsible for the monitoring of the numerous bugs and butterflies while keeping the plants in the greenhouse watered. They are certified in stick throwing for the dogs and snowball making in the winter. They also help us to continue to see this property through the eyes of children.
